DIDs to your mobile phone free in 5 ways

Most voip fans are looking for a free way to add one or more FREE DID numbers (virtual phone numbers) to the mobile phone, if you read our blog often, it is just a piece of cake for you to have it worked.

We have showed some useful skills of:

1. Add DID numbers from 38 countries to your Mobile Phone for free incoming calls, no charge (zadarma DID / sipbroker PSTN + PBXes + SIP provider)

2. How to use PBXes (4) inbound routing: route a SIP to Mobile Phone, add a virtual phone number to Mobile Phone (virtual numbers / DID to SIP providers + PBXes + SIP provider)

That's when someone call you skype while you are not online, skype will be forwarded to your mobile phone free, fixed line is workable also.

Speaking of this step, most of you may know that there is a way to add DID numbers ( Direct Inbound Dialing number ) to your skype, yes, you are right, as long as it support DID to skype Free, or Virtual Number to Skype Free, or access number to skype Free, it works. For example:

DID to skype Free providers via SIP: UKDDI.com, IPKALL.com, Groovytel.com, SIPbroker.com+PBXes.org, Tropo.com, etc...
Virtual Number to Skype Free via SIP: Sam as above
Access Number to Skype Free providers: rebtel.com, manifone.com, comfytel.com etc...

Speaking back about the post of yesterday, How to forward skype to mobile phone FREE (1) via PBXes There are 3 ways for you to add a DID numbers to Skype and then skype will be forwarded to your mobile phone / fixed phone free, the protocols are:

SIP of PBXes: The SIP address of PBXes classical extension 8002, freecallguider-8002@pbxes.org (freecallguider should be changed to your own username of PBXes)
SIP of Tropo: The SIP address of Tropo, e.g. : 9991480655@sip.tropo.com
Skype itself

Now, here are some simple details about how to forwards the DID / access Numbers to your Skepe Free:

1. For SIP protocols

Forward your DID / Virtual Numbers to the SIP of PBXes or Tropo, call this DID / Virtual number, your mobile phone will rings, all Free, how to:

You can use the DID from UKDDI.COM (click here to see how to do)
You can use virtual numbers from IPKALL (click here to see how to do)

2. Tropo Virtual Phone Number

get one or more Tropo numbers from the Countries below, call this or these numbers, your mobile phone rings also, all Free

How to forward skype to mobile phone FREE (1) via PBXes

Recently, we talked about how to make free calls from Skype, many of my blog readers told me it works great for them, it was such a good skills for voip fans, if you don't know how yet, just search How to make free Calls from Skype at our google search bar to get these skills.

I think every body knows how to forward your Skype to your mobile phone, it is a very easy function of Skype, this let your loved ones can reach you when you are not on Skype, and as you know it cost the minutes of your Skype credits, skype rate in some Countries are cheap, but you need to pay the connection fee, I really don't like this, the credits run faster than I can image. Are there any ways to make Skype forwards to mobile phone or fixed phone free without using Skype credit? If you are looking for this solutions for a long time and haven't get the answer yet, then you are came to the right place, what I am going to write is: how to forward Skype to mobile phone FREE (Fixed phone works also of course), here are the steps:

Step 1: Add a SIP provider which has free munites to call your mobile phone at the SIP trunk of PBXes, if you don't have SIP provider, you can try Nymgo, or go to our sidebar to fin "SIP" then click "FREE sip calls" to get one. Here we set Nymgo as an example: (if you don't have a Nymgo free $3 account, go to our google search bar under the main menu, and type nymgo and click search, and you will see the post of how to get $3 at Nymgo if they still provide free)

Now, follow the steps after you get the Nymgo $3 or others SIP providers with free minutes to your mobile phone:
1): Click Trunks=>Add Trunk=>Add SIP Trunk

2): then fill in the blank as below, the others remain unchanged and then scroll down the page and click "Submit Changes".

Tips:
Trunk Name: Nymgo1 ( it can also be any name you like to choose)
Username: freecallsguider (it is the SIP username of your SIP provider account)
"Register: no (just outbound calls)" means adding this SIP trunk only for making outgoing calls, not for incoming calls.
Choose "yes (inbound and outbound calls)", then this SIP trunk can not only receiving incoming calls, but also can make out going calls.

3): Add a Outbound Routing.
1. click Outbound Routing=> 2. Add Route=> 3. Route Name: Nymgo1=> 4. Trunk Seuence: SIP/Nymgo1=> 5. Select Numbers starting by and Separate prefix=> 6. Fill in 99=> 7. scroll down the page=> 8. click "Submit Changes"=> 9. finally click the Red Highlight.

[Tips]
99 prefix here is for calling out by using this SIP trunk Nymgo1.
because people usually add more than one SIP trunk, the PBXes system need to know which trunk to call out, dial 99, at the PBXes system will use Nymgo1 to call out, if you add another SIP trunk like Nymgo2, then you need to add prefix e.g: 88.

The 99 or 88 here is just for examples, you can choose any digits you like, but please make sure not to choose the Country Code like 001, 0044 or 1 or 44, etc.

Step 2: Add a classical Extension and your mobile phone number at PSTN.
Click Extensions=>Add Extension=>Classical

Add your PSTN (landline number or Phone number), here add you mobile phone number

Extension Number: 8002   (you can choose any 3 or 4 digits)
Display Name: PSTN        (can leave blank or can add any wordings)
URL: freecallguider-8002  (username-8002)

(fox example your phone number is 001-800-3733-411) then,
PSTN Number: 990018003733411 (prefix 99 here is to use SIP trunk Nymgo1 to call out as we set here: )
Then click Submit and click the red highlight

Step 3:Get the SIP address of extension 8002 by adding a incoming route.

Click Inbound Routing=> Add incoming route=>

Trunk: freecallguider-8002 (same as the URL of extension 8002)

Extension: PSTN<8002> (for both)

Select "No override (obey the above settings)

The others remain in blank

Click "Submit" and then the red highlight

and you will get the sip address e.g: freecallguider-8002@pbxes.org,

Now, call the SIP freecallguider-8002@pbxes.org, your mobile phone number will rings. The next step is to route a skype voice number of Tropo to this SIP address: freecallguider-8002@pbxes.org so as to let skype call your mobile phone free.

Step 4: Get a Free Tropo account and set up an application according to this post:
Click here to open a tropo free account by click "Try it Free"
Login your tropo and add a app (application) according to this page
Please make sure to change the code at Step 6 to the bolow ones:

say("thank you, connecting you to the mobile phone of free calls guider, please wait");           transfer("sip:freecallguider-8002@pbxes.org", {playvalue: "http://www.phono.com/audio/holdmusic.mp3", timeout:120.0})

Please make sure to change freecallguider-8002 into your own one.
The contents in say(" ") can be changed into whatever you want to say, just type it in and Tropo will speak for you by using its TTS.

When finished, you will get some numbers at your Tropo application, one of them is the Skype Voice e.g:+990009369991480655

Call this number e.g:+990009369991480655 or 00990009369991480655 at your Skype (don't worry, it is free calls, no charge at all), you will hear "thank you, connecting you to the mobile phone of free calls guider, please wait", and after around 10-20 seconds, your mobile phone rings.

Step 5: Now, forwards this number e.g: 00990009369991480655 to Skype, before doing this, please make sure you have opened the phone forwarding function at Skype (That means you need to have credits at your account, once you have, then the call forwarding function is available )
Click Tools => Options => Calls => Call forwarding =>
Then fill in the number e.g: 00990009369991480655 and click save.

Test now, get offline skype, and try to call your Skype by using another Skype account, you will hear prompt at Step 4, then around 20 seconds later, your mobile phone rings, success! Well done!

However, your mobile phone only rings 2-3 times, and then it stop ringing, it is too hard to pick up the phone, everyone needs longer ring times, don't worry, here we have a solution, just follow step 6 below:

Step 6: Get longer ring times at PBXes, otherwise, your mobile phone only rings 2-3 times, then it stops ringing because the default time of PBXes is 30 seconds, now go to your PBXes menu, and click "General Settings" and change the 30 into 80, click Submit Changes.

Don't forget to click the Red highlight after that.

Now you have longer ring times at your mobile phone, it rings just enough for you to have time to pick up up, nearly a minute.

Bingo!

What about the voice mail ? If your mobile phone has voice message services, then it is ok, but if you have this service and want to have a voice message from the one who call you? We also have a solutions here, it is free of course, see step 6.

Step 7: Skype has voicemail services, however, it works not well at all for callforwarding, what we need to do is to use the free voicemail by PBXes.
Click Extension => PSTN<8002>=>Scroll down the page and you will see voicemail setting, follow the below image:

Select "Enabled"
Choose in your voicemail password
Fill in your email to receive this voicemail
Select, yes, yes, yes, yes, no
Click Submit
Finally Click red highlight to finished the voicemail setting.

If you don't pick up the phone, it will go to voice message, you will get the voice message to your email filled above as soon as someone left a voice message to you.
There are 3 ways for you to get the voice message:

you can dial *98 by your pbxes sip extension 2001 at eyebeam, when prompt, enter your extionsion number 8002, you will be asked to enter the voicemail password, after that you can hear the voicemail.
The voice message will be also attached to your email, you can download it to paly it.
You can check it at PBXes, just logout your PBXes, and open http://www.pbxes.org, login with your freecallguider-8002 (change freecallguider into your own one), then the password of voicemail, and you will go to the page of voicemail.

You may have a question, how can I know if I have a voicemail if I am not at the computer or I am not checking the email so often, can I get a notify SMS about the voicemail? Is it Free?

Answer: yes and yes

How?

For facebook users, just follow these posts below, and you can get free SMS notify of your voicemail:

(please remember to change the eamil address at Step 7 to your facebook email address)

(for Chinese, you can use mail.139.com free SMS notify serivce, but you need to change the email into your 139 eamil address at step 7. )

In all
Someone calls your SKype => Your Skype picks up and forwarded to Tropo Skype voice number free=> Tropo picks up and forwarded to the SIP or pbxes 8002 extension FREE => then 8002 ask PBXes to use sip provider Nymgo to call the PSTN (your mobile phone) FREE.

I am using these skills to receive free calls from my Skype when I am offline, it works perfectly.

Add DID numbers from 38 countries to your Mobile Phone for free incoming calls, no charge

These days, we talked about Zadarma and how to use its Free DID number with extensions, and before, we also talked about the skills to use PBXes, now, we use the free DID numbers from Zadarma and its partner Sipbroker to route to your mobile phone free via PBXes. You may need some time to learn how to route it if you don't know how to use PBXes, once, you know how to use PBXes, you will love it and find it is not hard at all, in fact, it is very easy. Here are the steps:

Step 1: Add a SIP provider which has free munites to call your mobile phone at the SIP trunk of PBXes, if you don't have SIP provider, you can try Nymgo, or go to our sidebar to fin "SIP" then click "FREE sip calls" to get one. Here we set Nymgo as an example: (if you don't have a Nymgo free $3 account, go to our google search bar under the main menu, and type nymgo and click search, and you will see the post of how to get $3 at Nymgo if they still provide free)

Step 3:Add Zadarma SIP accounts to the SIP trunk
My Zadarma SIP account is:

SIP server / proxy / domain: sip.zadarma.com
Then I fill in as below:

Trunk Name: Zadarma
Remember to choose "yes (inbound and outbound calls)" at "register"
Then scroll down the page and click "Submit Changes", then click the red highlight

Step 4: As zadarma here is for incoming calls, so we add a incoming route
Click Inbound Routing=> Add incoming route=>

Trunk name must be same as your SIP trunk name: Zadarma
Select extension: PSTN<8002>
Then select "No override (obey the above settings)
The others remain unchanged
Finally click submit and the then the red highlight at the top

Now call the Free DID number with extension by Zadarma or its partner SIPbroker, your mobile will ring. Now, your mobile phone has phone numbers from 38 countries totally more than 300 hundreds DID numbers for free incoming calls. Congratulation !

How to use the DID phone numbers from Zadarma

What is DID number? What is DID number definition? Direct Inbound Dialing (DID) number is for receiving incoming calls, you can call it as a virtual phone number, usually, DID number routed to the softphones or applications or IMs of PC or Mobile phone or SIP or PBX to receive FREE incoming calls, most of them have extensions and by using the PSTN numbers from sipbroker.com as the DID number providers. However, some direct DID numbers haven't extensions, such as IPKALL, Google voice, UKDDI etc.

Except these, if you need DID number without extension, you may need to buy DID numbers and pay per month from $1 to 20$ according to different numbers in different Countries (see Zadarma DID number in 70 Countries for an example) . No matter what kind of DID, we always want to know this DID can be routed to our mobile phone or not, can routed to our Skype or not, the answer is yes if you are a good reader of my blog, you will find it is very easy by using PBX such as PBXes. Today we are not going to talk about how to routed the DID number to mobile phone number, we will talk it later in the coming days (in fact if you follow my blog, you may have known how to routed the DID to mobile phone free, we talked about the skills before). What we are going to talk about is how to use the DID number of Zadarma.

How to make free calls from Skype (5) rebtel+tropo

Speaking of rebtel, you can make free unlimited 10 seconds international phone calls to most mobile and landline in the world from rebtel PC softphone, However, too much softphones at computer will be not a good idea, rebtel offers free SkypeIn but doesn't offer SkypeOut. If you are using an USA number to register at Rebtel, you can make Free Calls From Skype Via Tropo by using Rebtel access number. When rebtel PC softphone has problem, you can still make free call from PC. Wanna know how it works? Here are the steps:

If Skype = Mobile Phone, then
Tropo = SIM card
Rebtel = Fee

Step 1: Get a rebtel account with your USA number

1. Sign up rebtel with your USA phone number (if you don't have one, just go to our sidebar, find the FREE VIRTUAL NUMBERS, then click Phone Numbers-USA or Phone Numbers-Worldwide to get one. (Google voice is not available to register at Rebtel now because too much abuse)

If you don't want to have one, you can use search or make one by yourself, how to make one? For example Search any real USA phone numbers, e.g: 3173701000, then you can use 3173701001 to register at Rebtel, at the moment, USA number that register at rebtel needn't verify, so you can use this way to make your own one.

2. Add a friend's phone number so as to get a local access number for you to call. Last post about how to make free calls from Skype (2), using Teleku+IPKALL+SIP providers, today, we have another choise, it is Teleku+FreeCallpin, very easy and simple, here is how:

Tools:
1. One Skype, PC or Mobile also works
2. One Free Teleku account (Function: Forward your calls from Skype free)
3. One FreeCallPin USA access number

In the above 4 points,
If skype = mobile phone, then
Teleku = SIM card,
FreeCallPin = Fee

Now, let's see how to get them and make free call from Skype:

Step 1: Get a Free Skype at www.skype.com and make sure how to get the dial keypad when you are on the voice chat at Skype, you can try a echo test call at skype and see you can get it or not?

1. Add "telekuapp" as a freind in your skype, it will show offline always, but never mind.

2. Fine "telekuapp" at your contact list, and right click it with your mose, then choose "call", you will be asked to entered a 3 digit extension when prompt, mine is 689, so I enter 689, when hear the long tone, now dial the number to make free phone call. (if you don't see the keypad, check it according to Step 1)

In all:
Skype make free call to Teleku, Teleku picks up and fowards this number to your freecallpin USA number (Teleku can make free calls to USA phone number) , frecallpin then prompts and enable you to make free international calls when you enter the phone number at Skype dialing keypad.

How to make free calls from Skype (3) : use access number with free minutes

Last 2 post about how to make free calls from Skype (1) and (2) by using SIP provider with free minutes, in those way, you can fully use your SIP accounts with free minutes to make free call from Skype. Today, we are going to talk about how to make free calls from Skype by using the free minutes from access number, see below

Tools:
1. One Skype, PC or Mobile also works

2. One Free Tropo account (Function: Gives a number to call from Skype free and Forward to SIP account)

3. USA access number Provider which can make free international calls

In the above 3 points,
if skype = mobile phone, then
Tropo = SIM card,
USA access number = Fee

Now, let's see how to get them and make free call from Skype:

Step 1: Get a Free Skype at www.skype.com and make sure how to get the dial keypad when you are on the voice chat at Skype, you can try a echo test call at skype and see you can get it or not?
Skype 5.3 international version have it when you have voice chat:

For the others version, you need to get it from the menu:
you are in the voice chat or phone call =>
Click "Call" at the top menu
Click "Show Dial Pad" (see below image)

and then you will see the keypad:

Step 2: Get USA access numbers:
We have some in our blogs, you can go to the sidebar, find the "ACCESS NUMBER FREE CALLS" and click "access numbers direct calls" to get one or more which offer USA access number. For example, I use RecordAll, my register number at RecordAll is 3175271000, and I choose the USA access number is +1-302-824-0106

If you don't want to register the above free call resources at access numbers direct calls, you can try to get from freephone2phone or freecallpin.com to choose one or more. (no need to register, just choose the USA access number you want, they are all yours free), for example, I choose 2 freephone2phone numbers: 2023155448 and 2035686843, and 2 freecallpin numbers: 2064241330 and 2062795097.

Step 3:
Get a Free Tropo account and set up an application according to this post:
Click here to open a tropo free account by click "Try it Free"
Login your tropo and add a app (application) according to this page
Please make sure to change the code at Step 6 to the bolow ones by adding the providers' access number and callerID (your registered phone number).

Please note the phone numbers in the above code, and change them into yours.

If you want to add more access number, such as 7 ones, please make changes as below:
1. Change the choices and attempts:

2. add more 2 "if" code as below, such as:

When finished, you will get some numbers at your Tropo application, one of them is the Skype Voice e.g:+990009369991480655

Step 4: Call this number e.g:+990009369991480655 or 00990009369991480655 at your Skype (don't worry, it is free calls, no charge at all), you will be asked to choose the numbers 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 to make free calls, according to the code above, press 1 for making free calls from RecordALL, press 2 or 3 from freephone2phone, press 4 or 6 from freecallpin, when prompt, then you can enter the phone number you want to call according to the dial rules of your USA access number providers.

In all:
Skype calls free access number e.g:+990009369991480655 or 00990009369991480655 from tropo, tropo picks up and use the provider that you chose to make outgoing calls when you enter the phone number at Skype dialing keypad.

For more USA access number providers with Free Minutes, go to our sidebar, find the "ACCESS NUMBER FREE CALLS" and click "access numbers direct calls". You will get more.

After use out of the Free Minutes of each provider, you can change the code in Tropo for a new one. In this way, you can use all your providers which offers free calls by calling USA access number and make free calls from Skype.
(most of the access number are USA ones)
